We offer crop consulting services including: Chemical recommendations, seed recommendations, variable rate planting maps, fertilizer recommendations, crop scouting and data processing. In todays world of agriculture, there is so much deception and this is a real problem for farmers. Some of the companies that were started to protect farmers, are now disregarding the trust they have built over the years and recommending products that have the highest margins, not necessarily what is best for the farmer. Countless times we find we can save a significant amount of money by simply changing a few products. Using fertilizer as an example, we often find that by changing from a single product with “everything in it” we can use a few different products to get the exact same analysis for several dollars per acre cheaper. We take the time to test any products we offer. We refuse to sell a product that we do not feel provides a ROI benefit to our customers. That is why we test our products as well as products we don’t sell and often recommend products that we don’t sell. With the huge amount of products claiming to add “10 bushels here, 5 bushels there”, we feel that this testing is necessary to “weed out the wannabe’s”.
